Very insightful. I'm glad you moved to a new city from Charleston.

Last night, my husband and I were discussing some what ifs. We realized years late, that I should have gone to law school when he did, when we were very very young. Instead, I supported him through law school at a series of the best jobs I could find at the time. Looking back, that wasn't the best use of my time. We should have waited to marry, and I should have gone to school along with him. ( I already had one graduate degree.) BUT, if we had done it that way, we would not have our older son (now 32) who is a delight. I can't imagine life without him.

What a great story, Susan! Thank you so much for sharing it.

By the way, if anyone is having difficulty commenting, please send me an email at donna@rockthesilver.com and describe what happens when you attempt to leave a comment. I've heard from a couple of you, but everytime I test it, it works! Elizabeth -- I saw an email from you flash up on my iphone and then it disappeared. Still trying to figure that one out.

I just LOVE your texts Donna. You have all these wonderful perspectives on life. You also inspires me to not change my mind in coloring my hair again. It`s two years since I quit and I`ve started to enjoy and love it. But, I guess like everyone else I feel old and worned out some times. I guess it`s hormones as well? Anyway it`s a pleasure to read your english, for me as a norwegian. You are a clever text - writer. Love and warm thoughts from Mia in Norway

Oh I like this so much. Time is relative - isn't it? And this is a good reminder to live in the present - let go of any regrets we may carry around - and like you said, things may have turned out worse if you hadn't done what you may think could have been better.....okay - I'm swirling already.

Thanks for visiting, Mia. I saw your picture on the Going Gray Looking Great Facebook page, and you definitely rock the silver! Beautiful!

Barb -- I appreciate the comment. I like the way you said it -- time is relative. Thanks for dropping by.
